16 Mar 009. COVID-19 Pandemic: Be Informed And Do Your Part To Help Each Other Out

As an athletic trainer, I am an advocate for sports, but even more so for public health and safety. The rapid spread of the coronavirus and its effects in suspending sports, canceling school, and negatively impacting businesses is a tough one. However, it is completely necessary and understandable in order to reduce the risk of rapid spread and infection in the interest of public health. During this time we all need to support each other, respect everyone, and help each other out to get through the near future. I encourage everyone to stay informed and do your part to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. I discuss some of the facts and recommendations from WHO and the CDC. We all need to do our small part and pitch in to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Practice good hygiene, common sense, and keep yourself and those around you healthy.
